Congratulations to Dr. Behdin Nowrouzi-Kia, Assistant Professor, Department of Occupation Science and Occupational Therapy on the funding of the project Exploring the Lived Experiences of Young Adults with Mental Health Challenges from Racialized Minority Groups Impacted by Long COVID-19: A Qualitative Intersectional Approach. This study will examine how Long COVID influences young people with pre-existing mental health challenges from racialized communities, including school, employment, leisure activities and daily life. In addition, it will gather data from individuals in racialized communities and assess their healthcare experiences.
The Network looks forward to the development of this project, and to the important insight it can provide into the lived experience of Long COVID.
